My first Nerf mod! I had so much fun doing this, I'm thinking of making more. I have two vacuum tubes on the top from my dad's old guitar amp. My husband modified some bullets for me by attaching small glow sticks to the ends so the rounds glowed in the chambers, it looked amazing in the dark and when they were fired! This was for my Steampunk costume this year.

Its awesome I am now wanting to turn my nerf gun into something like that^^ its so cool!

It's actually pretty easy, just be careful when you take it apart, don't lose the springs inside. Primer it and then paint away! I've seen some mods where they've gouged out chunks in the plastic to make it look more beat up, turns out pretty cool. Good luck if you do it!

Oh thanks for the advice, but maybe before I do it I should practice some detail work, I haven't tried very much...

What's the color? I have been looking for that for a few weeks now.

I used FolkArt craft paints: Burnt Umber for the base coat, Metallic Antique Copper for the highlights, then Calypso Sky for the blue and Metallic Inca Gold. Then I sealed it with a matte clearcoat. Hope that helps!
